SAVE THE DATE – OCTOBER 7th: First EULiST Hackathon for the Evaluation of the pilot Artificial Intelligence Toolkit

30/09/2025

EULiST, the alliance of ten European universities, is working to build a Digital Campus with a range of Artificial Intelligence tools integrated into it to support students, teachers, researchers and administrative staff.

In this initial phase of development, we want to have a first assessment of the initial versions of these AI tools, to collect suggestions for improvement and to be able to build together one of the central parts of this new university. Are you ready to make an impact? Your ideas and comments will be essential to improve these tools for future users of the EULiST Digital Campus.

With your participation, you will be entered into a raffle for a special gift sponsored by Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC). Limited to one gift per EULiST partner university.

  • To whom: students, researchers, faculty members, administrative staff and all members of the University.
  • How to participate: through the following link with your institutional account https://sway.cloud.microsoft/KuBMZO7eWwLT4AoR.
  • When: starting October 7th, 2025; and available online until October 15th, 2025
  • Where: the event will be accessible online to all members of the EULiST partner universities.

Additionally, for URJC participants, there will also be an in-person event at the Móstoles campus on October 7th, in classroom 111 of the Multipurpose Laboratory II, from 10:00 to 14:00. URJC students who participate in the Hackathon in person will receive ECTS credits and will be invited to share a breakfast.

Don’t miss out — take part in building the future of education and being an active member of the EULiST community!

EULiST Symposium on “Climate Resilience in Our Cities and Universities” at LUH – 2 and 3 December 2024

05/11/2024

The Leibniz University Hannover as a partner of EULiST invites EULiST members to participate in the EULiST Symposium “Climate-neutral and climate-resilient cities and universities in Europe” which will be held on December 2 and 3, 2024, in Leibniz University, Hannover, Germany.

Programme Partners: Leibniz University Hannover (LUH), Landeshauptstadt Hannover, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), TU Wien (TUW)

The challenges of climate change transcend borders, and so must the efforts to address them. The climate resilience of our cities goes beyond reactive adaptation to the consequences of climate change, such as heatwaves, flooding, or other catastrophic events, and requires us to proactively prepare for the future resilience of urban spaces, structures, and societies. Achieving climate neutrality in cities demands intervention and innovation in key areas, including buildings, mobility, and production. To drive the transformation necessary for cities to become climate-resilient and climate-neutral, we must explore new ways of integrating society and technology.

With this event, Leibniz University Hannover, in collaboration with its partners in the university alliance EULiST, the state capital Hannover, and the cities of the partner universities, seeks to explore how climate-resilient and climate-neutral cities and universities can be planned and designed — ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.

Stipends are available.

If you are interested in participating, please contact your local EULiST coordinator for details.

You can register here.
