Brno International Summer School in Information Technology

Brno University of Technology, in a beautiful historical city, at the heart of IT companies, provides international IT education in hot topics: Cyber Security and Forensics, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Robot Programming and Interactive Applications. Students also explore Europe, get 5 ECTS and find professional contacts.

The Brno International Summer School in Information Technology will take place from 8th to 23th of July, 2024. Students, especially those studying for a bachelor’s degree, will gain:

  • knowledge and practical experience in current IT fields (see Programme)
  • enjoy the rich history of Central Europe and modern technologies of IT companies (see Activities)
  • experience the culture of a university town and beautiful nature (see Brno)
  • lectures and hands-on activities bring the students a comprehensive understanding of the latest trends and developments in these fields.

Students will have the opportunity to engage with fellow students and professionals from around the world, sharing knowledge and experiences and expanding your network. They will also have the chance to explore the rich cultural heritage of Brno, which is home to historic architecture, art galleries, and museums.

The summer school represents educational activities that have been recognized and honored by 5 ECTS. This means that the successful completion of the program will earn students academic credits that are recognized across Europe and can be transferred to their home institution. We believe that this recognition is a testament to the high-quality education provided at our summer school and we are proud to offer this opportunity to our participants.

Students from EULiST universities have a discount on the fee for participation, which is only 550 USD (Normal fee is 1790 USD). The fee for participation covers lectures and materials, virtual company visit, social events and BUT transcript. Travel costs are not included.

To apply for the summer school, please complete the online application form on our website. The application form will be opened before 16 March 2024. The deadline for applications is 10 April 2024, and successful applicants will be notified by 17 April 2024.
