Strong Presence from the National Technical University of Athens in the EULiST Student Conference 2026
NTUA has recorded an outstanding level of student engagement for the upcoming EULiST Student Conference 2026, with a total of 273 applications out of 1.004 totally submitted for participation.
This strong response from NTUA highlights the high level of interest among NTUA students in taking part in international academic experiences and contributing to European-level initiatives. Notably, applications were received from students across all nine Schools of the University and from every academic level, demonstrating broad participation throughout NTUA.
The diversity of applications reflects the multidisciplinary character of the institution, with students from engineering, architecture, and applied sciences actively seeking to engage in an international environment. The participation of all Schools underlines a shared motivation among students to expand their academic horizons and collaborate beyond national boundaries.
The volume of applications significantly exceeds the number of available places, indicating a highly competitive selection process. At the same time, it showcases the growing demand among students for opportunities that combine academic development with international exposure.
Overall, the response from NTUA students confirms a clear trend: a strong willingness to engage, collaborate, and represent their university in a broader European context.
The final selected team to participate in the SC will be accompanied by the EULiST NTUA Student Team.
NTUA will also organize a workshop within the framework of the Student Conference titled “Ethics in Technology: From Theory to Practice,” led by Assistant Professor Spyridon Stelios, who specializes in Ethics and Technology.
