Strong Student Participation at the EULiST Information Event held at NTUA
A highly successful student-led Information Event on the EULiST Alliance was recently held at NTUA, showcasing the wide range of opportunities available to students in terms of mobility, engagement, and academic development.
Event Highlights
The agenda focused on:
- Providing a clear and accessible overview of the EULiST Alliance, its structure, and the participating countries and universities.
- Presenting the active role of students through the EULiST Student Board, as well as their involvement in Work Packages (WPs) and Task Groups, such as Task Group 1.2 “Student Engagement”.
- Sharing personal experiences from students who have taken part in EULiST activities.
- Presenting short-term mobility opportunities through Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs).
- Promoting the upcoming Student Conference 2026.
- Showcasing the Digital Campus, including a live demonstration of the Course Catalogue and the AI tools available within the platform.
First-Hand Experiences
Particularly engaging were the short presentations delivered by students who had previously participated in BIPs and in one of the past Student Conferences. Through their testimonials, they highlighted:
- the academic and intercultural experience they gained,
- the opportunity to network with students and academics from across Europe,
- the meaningful role students can play in shaping the Alliance’s activities.
Strong Interest in Active Engagement
During the discussion, many students expressed their interest in joining the local EULiST team as volunteers. Plans are already being considered for the organisation of an ΟPEN DAY to further inform and welcome new members.
The event clearly demonstrated the growing momentum around EULiST and confirmed the increasing interest of the student community in international collaboration, mobility opportunities, and active participation in shaping the European University of the future.
