From September 30 to October 1, 2024, a 22-member delegation from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU) visited Leibniz University Hannover (LUH) to strengthen the existing partnership and explore new cooperation opportunities within the EULiST network. The delegation, led by STU Rector Prof. Dr. Ing. Oliver Moravčík, consisted of representatives from various faculties, university management, central institutions, and the International Office.

The two-day visit provided a platform for an intensive dialogue on current trends and future developments in the EULiST network. Interactive workshops showcased ongoing projects, including part-time professorships, travel grants for young researchers, and summer school calls. Another workshop focused on synergies in the education sector, with a particular emphasis on EULiST micro-qualifications and innovative digital learning infrastructures. In addition, the delegates had the opportunity to learn more about the various faculties at LUH.

The visit of the delegation from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava to Leibniz University Hannover represents a significant step in deepening collaboration within the EULiST network. Both universities are optimistic about the upcoming collaborations and the potential to jointly develop innovative solutions in research and teaching. We would like to thank everyone involved for their commitment and look forward to the continuation of this fruitful exchange.
