Scholarships available!
Each July and August Leibniz University runs Sommerakademie, a special, 4-week, intensive German language summer program. And we very recently received funding for a new, special set of scholarships for students from EULiST partner universities! Information on both is below.
Sommerakademie
- 2 possible sessions
- July Session: July 4 – 30, 2024
- Levels: B1, B2 (see note below)
- August Session: August 5 – 29, 2024
- Levels: A2, B1, B2 (see note below)
- Program includes intensive German language instruction, materials, activities and excursions
- Housing: Single room in student dormitory (costs 350€ for 1 month)
- Credits: 4 ECTS
- Course fee: 650€ (instruction, registration, materials)

EULiST CONNECT Sommerakademie Scholarship
- Eligibility: Students (Bachelor, Master or PhD) regularly enrolled at a EULiST university
- 695€ Scholarship includes
- Travel Stipend: 255€
- Room and Board Stipend: 440€
- One scholarship available per university
- Application deadline: April 15, 2024

* Please note:
- Basic German (A1) is required as a prerequisite. The program begins at the A2 level.
- Course availability is at a first come, first served basis, and courses are filling quickly.
