STU Learning and Teaching Forum 2024

The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU) as a partner of EULiST invites EULiST members to participate in the STU Learning and Teaching Forum (L&T Forum), which will be held on November 7, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in the Aula of academician Bella, Faculty of Civil Engineering, located at Imricha Karvaša 2, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. The forum is dedicated to current issues of engineering education.

Engineers have been changing the world for centuries. They create the future using science and invention. Today, more than ever before, economic growth is determined by the innovation capacities of a country and the capability of engineering study graduates to bring new, economically, environmentally and socially sustainable solutions.

The forum will focus on the evolving landscape of technology education from both national and European perspectives. Discussions will cover important topics such as:

  • Innovative content and teaching and learning approaches
  • The integration of artificial intelligence in education
  • Strategies for cultivating talent
  • Enhancing academic careers

These engaging and relevant discussions are designed for
students, academic staff, and administering staff, offering valuable insights into the current challenges and vision of engineering education.
