Call for Contributions to EULiST Webinar Series on Professional Faculty Development

We are excited to announce a Call for Contributions for the EULiST Webinar Series on Professional Faculty Development, which is organised within EULiST Task Group 3.2 “Innovative Teaching and Learning Methodologies”, targeting at faculties of the EULiST partner universities

We invite experts to share their knowledge and insights on various topics that are crucial for enhancing educational practice and professional growth.

We are seeking contributions in the following areas:

  • Innovative Teaching and Learning Methodologies: Help faculties transform their teaching approaches through innovative methods that deeper student engagement and learning.
  • Soft Skills Development: Share your expertise on nurturing vital skills such as communication, leadership, adaptability, and teamwork in academic settings.
  • Technologicaly Integration in Education: Illustrate effective strategies for incorporating technology to enrich classroom experiences and expand learning opportunities.
  • Assessment and Evaluation Techniques: Offer your strategies for implementing fair, comprehensive, and efficient evaluation and assessment techniques.
  • Interdisciplinary Teaching and Learning: Present approaches to interdisciplinary education that encourage holistic understanding and collaboration across fields.

The webinars should take 60-90 minutes, divided into 45-60 minutes to share your expertise and 20-30 minutes for discussion, and will be offered at the LUH platform Stud.IP (see Working Group “EULiST Webinars on Professional Faculty Development”)

Contribution Details

If you are interested in contributing to our webinar please submit your proposal to Alessandra Continenza, University of L´Aquila, (alessandra.continenza@univaq.it) and Francesca Cristaldi, Leibniz University Hannover (Francesca.Cristaldi@zuv.uni-hannover.de).

Your proposal should include:

  • A very brief biography highlighting your expertise and experience (no more than one page)
  • Title of the webinar
  • A summary (up to 300 words) of your proposed session, including key topics and objectives
  • Possible date and time of the webinar and, if possible, two or three alternatives
  • Any additional resources or tools you would like to share during the webinar

Selection and Recognition

Contributors will be selected based on relevance, innovation, and potential impact on teaching practices. Selected speakers will have the opportunity to reach a wide audience of colleagues, gain recognition for their expertise, and contribute to the professional growth of EULiST fellow faculty members.
