EULiST WP4 “Research and Innovation” Meeting in Athens
From September 29th to 30th, 2025, the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) hosted an in-person meeting of EULiST Work Package 4 “Research & Innovation”.
The main objective of the meeting was to bring together WP4 partners and experts to further develop the implementation plan for key WP4 outputs.
The agenda included:
- Presentation of the Roadmap of Deliverables and Milestones for WP4, KPI Plan and WP4 progress to date.
- Presentation of the status of each task group within WP4.
- Exploration of synergies between task groups.
- Reflection on past topics and collaborative exploration of potential themes for upcoming “Fridays for Research” events, linked to the 6 specific SDGs that the EULiST alliance supports through its common Research Strategy: SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 9 (Industry Innovation and Infrastructure, SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) , SDG 13 (Climate Action).
- Exploration of synergies between WP4 and Task Group 1.5 “Strategy for SDGs” concerning the Interdisciplinary Science Ranking.
- Open Discussion and conclusions about next steps in each task group.
All presentations and discussions were made in the main auditorium of the Central Library and Information Centre of NTUA Zografou Campus. The meeting brought together 40 participants in total, including 34 in person and 6 remotely.
Overall, this meeting fostered collaboration and meaningful connections among the member universities, clearly demonstrating the shared vision of all partner institutions: working together to advance research and innovation and strengthen cooperation with industry.
