CALL FOR APPLICATIONS (EU2301-7231 & 7252) FOR A PUBLIC COMPETITION TO HIRE TWO UNIVERSITY GRADUATES TO WORK IN THE SERVICE OF INTERNATIONAL ALLIANCE (EULiST)

DESCRIPTION OF THE JOBS
The positions involve providing operational and strategic support for the University Alliance project EULiST (European Universities Linking Society and Technology), facilitating the coordination of activities, project management, and internal and external communication.
POSITION 7231: PROJECT OFFICER
- Support the local coordinator of the URJC in the EULiST Alliance in their various activities related to project management and coordination.
- Maintain relations and contact with project partners and associates.
- Prepare and supervise deliverables, KPI and other documents to justify and promote the project.
- Overseeing the project budget and financial and technical justifications to the project coordinator and the European Commission, both for this project and others that may arise from it.
- Participating in the preparation and drafting of proposals and subsequently in the implementation of both R&D and educational projects (Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, etc.).
- Organize project work meetings, events, and workshops.
- Handle and respond to URJC institutional emails related to the project, the EULiST Alliance, and other projects derived from it.
- Promote the project and the Alliance both internally within the University and externally (attendance at national or international fairs, events, or meetings).
POSITION 7252: COMMUNICATION OFFICER
- The main task of the position is related to communication, ensuring the smooth flow of information between departments, researchers, and support staff at URJC, while facilitating exchange between EULiST Alliance partners.
- Prepare and supervise deliverables, KPI and other documents to justify and promote the project and other related activities.
- Design and implement the dissemination strategies aimed at external audiences—other universities, European institutions, businesses, and civil society—in order to strengthen the visibility and impact of URJC within the EULiST framework.
- Contribute to the international projection of both the University and the Alliance through the production of outreach materials, presence in institutional media and social networks, and representation in strategic forums.
- Active participation in the development, drafting, and implementation of proposals in the field of R&D and education (Horizon Europe, Erasmus+), as well as the coordination and organization of working meetings, workshops, and events related to the project and the EULiST Alliance. It also includes administrative and communication management through the handling and response to institutional emails related to URJ projects.
ECONOMIC DATA
- Gross monthly salary: €2,346
- Number of payments: 14 annual payments
- Expected start date: November 3, 2025
- Expected end date: 10/31/2027
- Probation period: 30 days
- Commitment: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
- Working hours: Split shift
