Teaching Day Event, LUH, 6-7 May 2025

The Leibniz University Hannover extends a warm invitation to academic staff and students from all EULiST partner universities to take part in Teaching Day 2025, which will take place over two days this year: On 6th May (online) and on 7th May 2025 (on site).

For the first time, we are pleased to welcome participants from our European partner universities within the EULiST network to join the online sessions.

Here is a sneak peek of what’s on the agenda:

6th May, 9 AM – 2 PM (online):

  • Keynote (in English): “The Reign of HAL 9000? A Counterproposal for the Future of Learning”. How do we achieve a balance between the potential of technology and cooperative learning in campus universities? Join Ann Marie Wester and Thomas Bröker for an engaging discourse.
  • Panel Discussion (in German): How do we move from learning objectives to learning outcomes? Experts, teachers from various faculties, and students will discuss this topic in a panel session.
  • International Poster Session (in English & German): Discover innovative teaching projects from Leibniz Universität Hannover and other universities within the EULiST network.
  • Workshops (in German):

For academic staff: Dive deeper into topics such as AI in education, AI and exams, open educational resources, or digital tools.

For students: In the workshop “Playful and Purposeful – Learning and Teaching with and About AI” you will gain insights into the potential of utilizing generative AI in learning processes.

7th May, 3.30 pm – 6 pm

  • Teaching Award Ceremony at LUH (in German): Join the ceremony via Live-Stream! Discover how our award-winning teachers design their teaching in terms of motivation/inspiration, strategy/transfer, and professional development/teaching culture.
