6th EULiST “Friday for Research” – Joint Online Meeting on “Innovative Social Sciences for a Sustainable Bridge between Technology and Society

The 6th EULiST “Friday for Research” on “Innovative Social Sciences for a Sustainable Bridge between Technology and Society” will be held as a joint online meeting on Friday, 13th December, 12:00 – 15:00 CET.

The meeting will start with two keynote presentations. The first one is titled “The Philosophy of Fridays for Research in EULiST” and the second one is titled “Economics of Sustainibility: Uniting Economic Theory and Policy”.  Following this, representatives from the member universities of EULiST will deliver concise 5-minute presentations on the following topics:

  1. Social Innovation and Technology
  2. Climate Change and Social Resilience
  3. Digital Transition and Social Cohesion
  4. Social aspects of Health and Well-being
  5. Education and Lifelong Learning
  6. Cultural Heritage and Identity
  7. Urbanization and Rural Development
  8. Governance and Democracy
  9. Economic and Social Inequality
  10. Migration and Integration
  11. Gender Studies and Equality
  12. Peace and Conflict Studies
  • Role of social sciences in conflict resolution
  1. Aging and Society
  2. Media and Communication
  3. Legal Studies and Human Rights

This will be followed by a 10-minute open discussion, fostering further research collaborations.

The session will conclude with a summary of key outcomes and a presentation of the future steps.
