EULiST at NTUA Researchers’ Night 2024

EULiST proudly participated once again in the annual Researchers’ Night at NTUA (National Technical University of Athens), which took place on Friday, September 27, 2024, at the emblematic Averof Building of the Historic NTUA Patission Complex from 5 PM to 10 PM. As in previous years, a dedicated display area was established at the European CornerEU Missions, one of the most prominent locations in the atrium of the Averof Building.

The event was a resounding success, attracting a large and diverse audience, including university and high school students, researchers, professors, schoolchildren, their families, and teachers among others. Numerous visitors explored EULiST stand and were informed about its innovative past and future initiatives.

Videos featuring EULiST vision, objectives, and the opportunities it offers were displayed. Highlights from the 1st Student Conference in Vienna, EULiST inaugural participation in the EAIE Conference and Exhibition 2024 and other successful EULiST activities were showcased.

This year, a series of interactive activities for all ages was also organized:

  • Treasure Hunt: EULiST was included in the 3,000 maps distributed for the signature treasure hunt of the Researchers’ Night.
  • School Students’ Quiz: A quiz game was designed via Kahoot for children, aimed at engaging young visitors with the culture and history of the 10 countries represented by EULiST member-universities, while providing fun facts and interesting information in an entertaining format.
  • University Students’ Quiz: Another Kahoot quiz game was created for university students, both entertaining them and informing them about EULiST’s past initiatives (such as the Blended Intensive Programme and Student Conference) and future plans through photos and explanations.
  • European Map: A ‘journey’ through Europe was organized using a collage-style map of the universities that are part of the Alliance, showcasing the unique characteristics of each member-country and emphasizing multiculturalism and diverse academic backgrounds.

The enthusiasm and keen interest expressed by visitors were the greatest rewards and serve as motivation to continue providing valuable opportunities through the alliance for all the EULiST diverse groups of stakeholders.
